Dr. Bill Stannard Award for Excellence
About the Award
The Awards Committee of the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Montana State University is seeking nominees for two awards for distinguished mathematics instruction. The awards are generously funded by Dr. William A. Stannard, Retired Professor of Mathematics and long-time MCTM member.
One award honors a Montana Teacher of Mathematics (any grade, K-12) who has distinguished themselves as “having been superior not only in imparting mathematical knowledge but in motivational academic efforts.”
One award honors a Montana College Teacher of Mathematics who has distinguished themselves as “having performed in a superior not only in imparting mathematical knowledge and in motivational academic efforts.”
